New Colors

Six New Veg Tan Colors!

We continue to expand our full grain Italian veg tan offerings for custom wallets and cardholders! This time, we're adding four new colors of Buttero and two new colors of Pueblo.

Buttero and Pueblo are the premier offerings from Walpier Tannery (Buttero) and Badalassi Carlo (Pueblo), both giants of Tuscan leather making and masters of the traditional Italian vachetta process. While they both hail from our favorite region, these two leather articles could not be more unique from one another.

Buttero is firm and dense, with the slightest sheen in bright light. While it will take a few weeks to break in fully, the patina process with Buttero is excellent. With friction, Buttero is somewhat self-shining, and while it does pick up scratches fairly easily, the overall effect is a luxurious but hard-working aesthetic that combines with Buttero's acceptance of heat-pressed initials to create an unforgettable accessory that will start stiff but age gracefully.

Pueblo is a softer, more flexible leather with a buffed grain that reminds us of swirling marble floors. While still maintaining plenty of body, Pueblo naturally breaks in much more quickly than Buttero, with a patina process that starts as soon as you touch your wallet for the first time. With aggressive patination, Pueblo will darken several shades based on use and the buffed surface will blend together for highly unpredictable wear patterns. Pueblo is a leather for those who want their accessories to display their lived experience romantically. Plus, that Pueblo SMELL is something that cannot be described, only experienced.

For maximum patina, we always recommend the "natural" color for either Buttero or Pueblo, as this is truly a blank canvas, but you cannot go wrong with any of our color offerings. Mix and match to create your perfect companion piece!

Let us know what colors you would like to see going forward.
