Well, here we are! One chaotic month later, and T.C. Hall Leather (and family) has completed the move from Celina, TX to Charlotte, NC! One more big change--we are now Studio Hall! Same custom handmade goods, with an updated image.
We have already met so many new friends and collaborators in our short time here in the Queen City, so this is a great time to re-introduce ourselves at Studio Hall.
My name is Thomas Hall, craftsman behind the brand. My wife and I are former high school English teachers who, at the end of the 2022 school year, decided to make some radical changes. For Courtney, that meant switching careers to become a technical writer. For me, it was taking my 2-year side-hustle of designing leather accessories full-time. I launched my first brand, T.C. Hall Leather, in earnest, and took the plunge into being my own boss.
So what do we do that makes Studio Hall special? Our business stems from the idea of extremely high quality, meticulously detailed, and incredibly customizable handmade leather goods. We source small batches of Italian vegetable-tanned leather (see our FAQ about why we are so invested in Tuscany tanning!) to offer modern, minimalist wallets, watch straps, belts, and bags to offer a loving, artistic, and local alternative to fast fashion and disposable culture.
Our products are hand-stitched for longevity and beauty, in the style of the masters. Look to Studio Hall for the crafting techniques of Hermès with the friendly face of a local business. Our studio offers three pillars of service: ready-to-ship, made-to-order, and bespoke.
- Ready-to-ship items are typically one-off wallets and cardholders created to display a new leather or style. These ship next day and go quickly, so act fast! Personalization is not offered on ready-to-ship items.
- Made-to-order encompasses our tried and tested designs for wallets, cardholders, belts, keychains, and watch straps. Choose your leather, thread, personalization such as initials or laser-engraving. We've already done the design work; now you get to play with making it your own! Lead time is typically 1-3 weeks.
- Bespoke orders are our true passion at Studio Hall. Often challenging but always fulfilling, we walk the customer through the entire design process to create something truly unique. Laptop bags, padfolios, wedding belts, and luxury corporate gifts are just a few of the projects that we have designed with our clients, carefully curating leather, hardware, timelines, and budget.
