Ballad: Red/Asphalt

In poetry, a ballad is a narrative song consisting of 4-line stanzas, or quatrains. Our Ballad cardholder uses the theme of "four" just as our Quatrain, but unlike the Quatrain bifold, the Ballad is a completely flat. Boasting 4 card slots and one middle pocket for cash or receipts, the Ballad is for those who want to make the most of a simple design.

 Note: SMOOTH. This Ballad is an eye-catching combination of dark red Buttero and "asphalt" Uragano, with a premium handfeel stately stitching. While Buttero is quite uniform in color and texture, the asphalt Uragano accent pocket has subtle swirling patterns present. Both colors will darken and self-shine as they patina. This Ballad was a demonstration piece and has a couple very minor nicks, for which an additional discount has been applied.

Our cardholders use the finest full-grain vegetable-tanned Italian leather from Tuscany and feature skillful saddle-stitching and burnished edges. See information below for tannery ("conceria" in Italian) provenance and the colors and names of leather articles used.
